Mission

The Stomp Out Breast Cancer Foundation is ~ empowered with knowledge, strengthened through action, sustained by community ~ dedicated to working with African American women to promote breast health and support women living through the trans-formative diagnosis of breast cancer.

Purpose

Provide education, screening, financial assistance and support to persons impacted at little to no cost, to change the prognosis for this community.

Goal

Reduce the breast cancer prognosis/diagnosis of African American women in Colorado by at least 25%.

Financial Support is available for persons in active Breast Cancer Treatment.  Please contact us for more information or submit an application for consideration and eligibility evaluation.

Did you know…

About 1 in 8 U.S. women (about 12.4%) will develop invasive breast cancer over the course of her lifetime.

In 2018, an estimated 266,120 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in women in the U.S., along with 63,960 new cases of non-invasive (in situ) breast cancer.

About 2,550 new cases of invasive breast cancer are expected to be diagnosed in men in 2018. A man’s lifetime risk of breast cancer is about 1 in 1,000.
